Can Jesse AI execute trades (trading bot) or is there a simple to use alternative where you can import the Jesse strategy file?

But it is not production ready yet. I will release optimize mode and then livetrade plugin. When I do, you can use the very same strategies you develop now, to trade live.

Saleh very excited about this! Is the plug-in available to be tested? Maybe us community members can help with bugs/features.

Maybe it could be interesting to release the Paper Mode before the livetrade (even if it's not totally finished) so it would be possible at least simulate a livetrade

Gabri Paper and Live are almost the same. Even the same code file is used to run them.

Ok thank you for the answer. I know impossible to say but would do you estimate the ETA? closer to a week, or months?

dimadude101 As you said it's very hard to estimate, but I'd day 1-3 months. Optimize mode would be released earlier; like in 2-4 weeks from now.

Make sure to work on your strategies in the meanwhile. It took me personally a lot of time to actually develop profitable strategies. Using a good backtest engine like Jesse, what you'd see is that most strategies are shockingly not profitable in the long term.

@Saleh what kind of API for live trade are you willing to use? Something like ccxt or develop by your own?

nickz I have developed my own. ccxt solves the order part, while the hardest part that I have faced so far has been the web socket stuff. ccxt was developing another repo for WS, I'm not sure how it went.

Saleh Got it. And as I know, ccxt doesn't support position sizing, but you will.
I know how difficult to support all that wrappers for exchanges' API. Anyway, I wish you good luck and advise you to focus not on the number of exchanges but quality.

ikamanu I can say with a 90% confident that it will be released in this year. There's a good change that it will be even sooner.
